Experiential teaching in the 1980 s began to rise,it emphasizes that in the "learning by doing" attaches great importance to the students as the main body,takes student’s emotion "internalized",has a distinct subjectivity,factualism,situational and affective characteristics,can effectively help more abstract,general cultural teaching,also can make students well into the culture teaching.Therefore the author to David Cooper’s "experiential" culture teaching and Moran’s theory of "cultural experience model" as a guide,introduces experience type teaching in cultural teaching,combined with their own teaching practice,based on the culture teaching to international students,the experience type teaching in the application of culture teaching foreign students has carried on the exploration,and the problems existed in the carding and analysis.There are few researches on experiential teaching application and Chinese teaching for foreign students,most of which are limited to the teaching of overseas volunteers.This paper takes the students of Bohai University as the research object,makes statistics on the Spring Festival cultural knowledge in the three textbooks of Developing Chinese Elementary Comprehensive Course I,Developing Chinese Intermediate Course I and Developing Chinese Intermediate Course II,and develops them into a case study of the Spring Festival cultural subject.This paper investigates the present situation and existing problems of experiential teaching in cultural teaching by means of questionnaire survey and interview,and puts forward the optimization of experiential teaching in cultural teaching Strategies and methods.It has been proved that experiential teaching can be applied to the cultural teaching of foreign students,and has achieved good learning results,which has great promotion value in the classroom of foreign students in China.
