A Study Of C-E Simultaneous Interpretation Techniques Based On Eco-translatology

As one of the emerging interdisciplinary subjects,Eco-translatology has potential in the practice of interpreting.Eco-translatology emphasizes the “overall integration,harmony and unity” between interpreters and the interpretation ecology,advocating giving full play to the initiative to choose the best interpretation strategies and techniques.In this thesis,the video of C-E simultaneous interpretation of Premier Li Keqiang's 2019 Government Work Report is selected as the material,applying wholeness and relevance,dynamics and balance,and diversity and unity of Eco-features to analyze the feasibility of Eco-features in the process of simultaneous interpreting,to solve difficulties and to reduce interpreting stress according to Eco-features,etc.Through the study of Eco-translatology and the analysis of Li Keqiang's 2019 Government Work Report,the thesis finds that Eco-features has certain guiding significance for simultaneous interpretation of Government Work Report.In the process of simultaneous interpreting,in line with wholeness and relevance,dynamics and balance,and diversity and unity,combining simultaneous interpretation results with Eco-features effectively will help interpreters to choose much more appropriate interpreting techniques.In this way,interpreters tend to establish their own ecological consciousness and focus on the accurate and harmonious effect in the process of output,making efforts to complete the task with high quality.By the way of exploring the embodiment and application of Eco-features of Eco-translatology in simultaneous interpreting,the thesis author hopes to provide some practical reference for the textual studies on simultaneous interpretation of Government Work Report and for interpreting practice in the future.
