Research On Redemption Ceremony In Northwest China From The Perspective Of Literary Anthropology

Redemption is a kind of transitional folk religious ceremony held by the northwest folk society to pray for the God to protect the healthy growth of children and strengthen children's growth education.It is different from the institutionalized adult ceremony that has been circulated for a long time in ancient China.With the social changes and the expansion of regional differences,the form and content of the redemption ceremony have changed correspondingly,but its core ritual structure and the significance of life education are preserved.At present,many people in civil society are in a spiritual dilemma,the ancient redemption ceremony is a kind of special comfort and healing.The academic research on the redemption ceremony in Northwest China is mostly superficial,lacking in-depth and detailed field investigation and theoretical analysis.Under the guidance of relevant theories of cultural anthropology,this paper takes the redemption ceremony in Zhenyuan County,Qingyang City,Gansu Province as the center,through multi-level and multi angle field survey,comprehensively displays the structural process and cultural form of the redemption ceremony,uncovers the mystery of misunderstanding on the representation of the folk custom of redemption,and then analyzes the life significance and social connotation behind the ceremony.The introduction part focuses on the domestic and foreign ritual research and adult ritual research status,analyzes the current research situation of the redemption ceremony,and explains the necessity of the redemption ceremony research.The first chapter is the overall description of the cultural environment of the ransom ceremony,respectively from the geographical situation,social culture and folk beliefs in Qingyang area,revealing the external causes of the emergence and continuation of the ransom ceremony in this area.The second chapter describes the process of the redemption ceremony based on the field investigation materials.It is the indirect religious origin of the ceremony to send security and life;it is the meticulous and meticulous preparation,the serious and standardized procedure of the ceremony,the follow-up family feast to reward and get together,which forms the basic process and structure of the redemption ceremony;the mysterious consciousness of time and space injects unique charm into the ceremony.The third chapter is the connotation analysis of the ritual elements.In the redemption ceremony,the Scriptures,utensils and the medium of communicationbetween human beings and gods,yin and Yang,are combined into the component system of the whole ceremony process in a specific way,which implies the symbolic significance of different levels of the ceremony process.The fourth chapter focuses on the structure and function of the redemption ceremony.According to van reenep's concept of "passing through rites",the redemption ceremony is divided into three stages:separation,threshold and integration.The paper analyzes the different manifestations of the different stages of the redemption ceremony and the psychological changes of the recipients,and places the ceremony in the overall coordinate of the whole life process,and analyzes and reveals the metaphorical significance of the growth transformation and educational development behind the ceremony.
