A Study Of Tibetan Female Adult Ceremony In Labrang Tawa

Folk etiquette can be described as a living ethnic culture museum,The Tibetan adult etiquettes include the local Tibetan ethnic clothing culture,food culture,social culture and multicultural contents.It is one of the important ways to observe the development of local cultures and changes.This paper mainly explores the contemporary value of the ritual by studying the female rite of Tibetans in Labrang Tawa.Based on the research methods of field investigation and literature analysis,and combining the related theories of ethnology and folklore.Through some specifi cagendas of Tibetan female adults ceremony to analyze the details,symbols and meaning of the ceremony as well as the concept of the ceremony,in order to depict the development of the rite in the local society.This article is divided into five parts.The first part introduces the research origin,object and meaning,related research at home and abroad,related theoretical reviews and research ideas and methods;The second part explains the ritual survival fields,including the geographical features,historical evolution and cultural background of Labrang area;The third part is the overall description of the etiquette and rituals of Tibetan female adults in Labrang area;The fourth part is a detailed interpretation of adult rituals,including the interpretation of symbols in the ceremony and the public’s demands of the meaning of rituals and the changes of rituals and other related factors.The fifth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the important social significance of adult rituals and the prospects for the future development of folk etiquette and culture.
