A Study Of EST Interpretation From The Perspective Of The Interpretive Theory

With the deepening of economic globalization,technology products have been widely used all over the world.Technology product launch is one of the best ways to learn about technology products.Under such conditions,relevant research on science and technology interpretation is in line with practical needs and great significance.The interpretive theory is one of the most influential theories applied in English interpreting studies and it occupies an important position in interpreting studies.The thesis takes the interpretive theory as the guiding theory,and uses Google I/O 2019 as an example.Focusing on the main points that the interpreter may face during the live interpreting,the thesis analyzes the working process of the Triangular Model“understanding,deverbalization,re-expression” for EST interpreters concretely,which embodies the EST interpretation's application under the guidance of the interpretive theory.Through the research on the interpretive theory and the analysis of Google I/O2019,this thesis has a guiding significance for EST interpretation under the guidance of the interpretive theory.It also provides a reference for related research and practice,and hopes to be helpful for future research on EST interpretation.
