| Chinese characters teaching is an extremely important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Although Chinese characters teaching has gradually attracted people’s attention in recent years,its development is still relatively backward,and Chinese textbooks,which are important carriers of Chinese characters teaching,are also in the same situation.At present,the number of textbooks for elementary Chinese characters for foreign students is increasing day by day,but how to compile a high-quality textbook for foreign students to learn Chinese characters is inconclusive.This article analyzes the independent Chinese characters textbook "Chinese Characters Easy to Learn: Starter" edited by Li Rui,and combines the author’s teaching practice and learner’s acquisition to summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the textbook,so as to further consider and explore how to compile a textbook for elementary Chinese characters that is more suitable for foreign students and better complete the task of teaching Chinese characters as a foreign language.The main contents of this article include:The first chapter mainly explains the purpose and significance of the research.It summarizes the research status of elementary Chinese textbooks from three aspects: the study of Chinese textbooks for foreigners,Chinese characters textbooks for foreigners,and independent Chinese characters textbooks.Finally,it introduces the research content and methods of this article.The second chapter mainly introduces the reasons for the selection of the "Chinese Characters Easy to Learn: Starter".The third chapter is an analysis of "Chinese Characters Easy to Learn: Starter".The textbook is comprehensively analyzed from seven parts: the structure and content of textbooks,teaching objects and goals,the selection of Chinese characters,theknowledge point of Chinese characters,the setting of "small knowledge of Chinese characters",exercises,and the timely reproduction of Chinese characters.In Chapter Four,after a detailed analysis of "Chinese Characters Easy to Learn:Starter",it summarizes its reference points and deficiencies,and then puts forward some suggestions for the use and compilation of textbooks.Chapter five puts forward some thoughts and suggestions for the compilation of textbooks for elementary Chinese characters for foreigners,and finally puts forward corresponding learning strategies and teaching strategies from the aspects of teaching management,students and teachers.The last part concludes the main content of the full text and points out the shortcomings and problems of this article.It is hoped that this article can provide some reference value for the preparation of elementary textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and help students better acquire Chinese characters. |
