| As China’s national strength grow continuously and its international influence continues to expand,soft power of Chinese culture has been demonstrated to a considerable extent.As a result,it shines on the world stage,and the scope of application of Chinese in the world is expanding.More and more foreigners are showing great interest in learning Chinese and its characters.In recent years,Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language has developed rapidly,as one of the important links of it,Chinese character teaching has also attracted much attention.In the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,the teaching of written language runs through,and it is inseparable from writing symbols.As a record of Chinese,Chinese characters are written symbols,so in the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,Chinese character teaching plays an important role which could not be ignored.For learners,it would lay a good foundation and improve their ability to write and read Chinese characters and Chinese.With regard to the current status of Chinese character teaching,foreign students are afraid to learn Chinese characters,especially for the Mongolian students who are not in the cultural circle of Chinese characters,writing and reading Chinese characters is still a difficult part of their learning,and it also affects their grasp of Chinese.At the same time,teachers who are engaged in Chinese character teaching also face the problems of limited teaching time,low teaching efficiency and so on.Therefore,the research of Chinese character teaching should be deepen and broaden and pay more attention to students who learning characters in non-Chinese cultural circle.In addition,it should strengthen the comprehensive analysis of Chinese character teaching and emphasis on the problems of teachers and students in the teaching process.Andfinally promoting the scientific and comprehensive development of Chinese character teaching.This article takes Chinese teachers who teach the primary reading and writing course in E City International College and its Mongolian students who at the primary stage as the survey objects,analyze the main problems and their causes in Chinese character teaching for primary reading and writing course of Mongolian students through questionnaires,interviews and classroom observations,and put forward targeted teaching suggestions on this basis.This article is divided into five parts:the first part is the introduction,mainly includes the significance of topic selection,the current research situation of Chinese character teaching,research content and methods.The second part,a survey on Chinese character teaching in the primary reading and writing course of Mongolian Students in E City International College.It mainly investigates the teachers,students,teaching materials and curriculum setting of the primary reading and writing course.The third part,problems and causes of Chinese character teaching in the primary reading and writing course of Mongolian Students in E City International College.It analyzes the problems and causes of Chinese character teaching at the student and teacher levels.Among them,students have problems in reading and writing Chinese characters,teachers have problems in teaching methods,Chinese characters writing and Chinese characters knowledge teaching.The reasons are: students are affected by the negative transfer of their mother tongue and the learning strategies are not properly chosen,teachers pay less attention to the teaching of Chinese characters,teachers’ own energy is limited,and the teaching content is not substantial.The fourth part,suggestions on Chinese character teaching in the primary reading and writing course of Mongolian Students in E City International College.It puts forward specific suggestions based on the problems and causes,that is,holding teaching materials accurately and expand teaching contents appropriately,paying more attention to the pronunciation ofChinese characters and enhancing the Chinese character recognition teaching,improving the Chinese character writing teaching based on its characteristics.The fifth part is the conclusion,summarizing the full text and refining the perspective.At the same time,point out the shortcomings of this article. |
