In recent several decades, teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL) has made tremendous progress. However, teaching Chinese character to foreigners (TCCF), which as a major element of TCFL, has been still in a relatively backward state and has become the bottleneck of the development of TCFL. "Difficult characters" has become the general impression of foreign students. So to the non-Chinese cultural circle of the primary stage students, Chinese character is even more difficult.The form, pronunciation and meaning of Chinese character form one system. According to the specificity of non-Chinese cultural circle and the feature of the Chinese character, I give some teaching suggestions and make a teaching experience.This article is divided into five parts:first, the significance and this study an overview of the development of TCFL; second, the problems of TCFL as well as the deeper reasons; third, the special analysis of primary stage of non-Chinese cultural sphere Chinese learners and the need to enhance their teaching; fourth, given the special nature of the student teaching strategies; fifth, according to the proposed initial stage of non-Chinese cultural sphere Chinese teaching strategies, teaching practice to do a summary of the case.At present, the methods of TCCF are drab, lacking of targeted and phased. It is difficult to meet the actual needs of different levels of students. The proposed strategies consider the particularity of teaching of non-Chinese cultural circle students in the initial stage, strengthening the relevance of TCFL, making teaching more reasonable and scientific. Meanwhile, to some extent, these strategies could reduce the fear of the students who learn Chinese characters and let students study Chinese characters in a relaxed atmosphere improving the efficiency of learning Chinese characters. |
