| Chinese character teaching is an important and difficult point in Chinese International Education and Teaching all the way.So we should have more efficient teaching strategies and ways in international Chinese education and teaching.Now common and influential literacy teaching methods which focus on native children are more than ten kinds.Because of the particularity of teaching objects,learning objectives and task in Chinese international teaching,we should also take notice of learning the scientific and effective part of this kind of literacy teaching method in Chinese character teaching to overseas students.The literacy of word family take word families as the basic part in literacy teaching,and make small verses out of many near characters and related words.So the limitations of literal literacy and isolated literacy can be broken,and new ways for students to learn characters can be opened.This article try to clarify Common Chinese Character Table which attach to International Curriculum For Chinese Language Education(the following are called as Curriculum in brief),and sort them out.Besides,this article will investigate overseas students by means of questionnaires to investigate their understanding and grasping to word families and verses,as well as analyzing and summarizing the results of the investigation,so can provide the teaching methods of literacy with word families in international Chinese character teaching with referential opinions.Based on this,this article will write cases for literacy and verse learning,as well as designing corresponding teaching designs.At last,by analyzing some available character teaching materials,this article try to offer some advice to teachers to teach characters,to students to learn characters and to compilation of textbook.There are six chapters in this article:The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter will introduce causes of the research,current situations,purposes and meanings in this article.Now there are many researches of verses with word families about Common Chinese Character Table which attach to Curriculum,teaching methods of literacy,noumena of verses with word families and the field of Chinese teaching in middle and primary schools.But the field of Chineseinternational education has few researches about teaching methods of literacy with word families,and it take little notice of the teaching methods of literacy with word families and has few achievements.Many scholars realize the importance of teaching methods of literacy with word families in Chinese international education.So this article has meaning and value for researching.The second chapter analyzes the feasibility of the teaching method of literacy with word families in Chinese international education mainly.This chapter will analyze the feasibility of teaching methods of literacy in Chinese international education from three parts — —theoretical basis of psychology,pedagogy and linguistics meticulously.At last this chapter will illustrate teaching methods of literacy has the feasibility in Chinese international education,and sort out the word families in Common Chinese Character Table.The third chapter will take a questionnaire survey of overseas students.This chapter will analyze overseas students’ character learning situation by means of word families.According to the sorting and classification in Common Chinese Character Table and characteristics of word families and verses,and combining the characteristic of word families and verses,the author makes questionnaires to investigate the overseas students in institute of International Education in Anhui University.The questionnaire will investigate the cognition and grasping situation of overseas students and analyze and summarize the results of the investigation,as well as concluding problems of teachers in characters teaching and of students in characters learning.The fourth chapter is the design of cases for literacy and verse learning based on teaching methods of word families and verses.According to the sorting and classification in Common Chinese Character Table and the cognition and grasping situation of overseas students,this article write appropriate cases for literacy and verse learning and design corresponding teaching plans,aiming to provide teachers with beneficial references when teaching word families and verses and provide students with convenience and guidance when learning characters by use of word families.The fifth chapter offers some proposals about character teaching and compilation of textbooks mainly.Focusing on problems of overseas students to learn characters by use of word families and the experience of the writer,this chapter will offer referential proposals forteachers how to teach characters and for students how to learn characters by means of verses with word families.This chapter will offer proposals to compilation of textbooks focusing on teaching awareness of verses with word families and the knowledge of character teaching to make analyses of three textbooks — — Experiencing Chinese Characters Introductory Chapter,Easy Way To Learn Chinese Characters and A Systematic Approach To Learn Chinese Characters.The sixth chapter is the conclusion about the whole passage.This chapter will make a conclusion of main points of the whole article,introspect the drawbacks of the research in this article and expect the investigation and research in the future. |
