The teaching of Chinese characters is an important part of Chinese international education and also a difficulty.At present,the academic circle increasingly emphasizes the importance of Chinese theory teaching in the field of Chinese international education.However,how to carry out the word theory teaching,especially how to explain the word theory of the basic Chinese characters,has become a big difficult problem.In this context,this study from the attributes of Chinese characters,traditional literacy,the historical experience of Mongolian,the feasibility of modern language teaching,the current situation of the Chinese international education acquisition these four perspectives that "in the field of Chinese international education literacy teaching is necessary",and the purpose is to meet the students’ characters of memory,understand and help,including the form discrimination,structure,the use of structure and culture.Then,the teaching principles and teaching methods are analyzed.The teaching principles summarized in this study include both science and popularity,systematization and stage,practicality and cultural moderation.On the one hand,diagram method and ancient characters are used: demonstration method(teachers)and experience method(students),classification method and association method and discrimination method.On the other hand,the intuitive teaching method should be changed by students in the intermediate stage and situational in the advanced stage.
