In the late Qing Dynasty,in the historical background of the coexistence of old and new,the type of Chinese academies was also much richer than before.Except for Li有earning Ancient Academy,which is mainly teaching and propagating the learning of Li,Han有earning Ancient Academy,which is famous for its textual research.In addition,there are the New-Style Academies that teach Western natural science and technology,and the Religious Academies that mainly spread Christianity.There are history education in these academies.Due to the different directions of running schools,the history education of these academies also presents different aspects.On the whole,the history education of Li有earning Ancient Academy focuses on the moral exploration in history,and the history education shows a strong "morality" and " exhortation";the history education of Han有earning Ancient Academy focuses on the examination of historical records and historical facts,and the history education shows a strong "authenticity" and "academic";the New-Style Academy emphasis on using history experience to solve real problems,the "applicability" of history education is more obvious;and the history education of Religious Academies is more of a "knowledge",because it only uses history education as a job to Spread Christianity.This paper mainly uses the typical case analysis method to show the different characteristics of the above-mentioned various types of academy history education.The main part of the article consists of five chapters.The second chapter mainly introduces the development of the academy and history education in the late Qing Dynasty and the relationship between them,and explores the influence of the political situation,academic atmosphere and educational policies of the late Qing Dynasty on the development of his academy and history education.At the same time,it explores the relationship between the academy and Chinese traditional history education and the new history curriculum education in the late Qing Dynasty.Finally,explain why Henan Mingdao Academy,Sichuan Zunjing Academy and Shanghai Polytechnic Institution were used as typical cases in Li有earning Ancient Academies,Han有earning Ancient Academies and New-Style Academies.The third to sixth chapters mainly introduce the history education of Henan Mingdao Academy,Sichuan Zunjing Academy,Shanghai Polytechnic Institution and Religious Academies in the late Qing Dynasty.It mainly introduces the history education of Henan Mingdao Academy with the imperial examinations,the cultivation of morality and the self-improvement of salvation;the history education of Sichuan Zunjing Academy with historical records analysis,textual research of historical facts and history commentary;the history education of Shanghai Polytechnic Institution with Chinese and Western science and technology,the evaluation of ancient practical talents and historical geography of borders and abroad;as well as the history education of Religious Academies with traditional Chinese history education,the new Chinese history curriculum education and the western history education.On the basis of analyzing their history education content,to summarize and evaluate the characteristics of their history education.The conclusion part mainly reveals the commonality and characteristics of the history education of various types of academies in the late Qing Dynasty,the similarities and differences between the history education of the late Qing Dynasty and the history education of the previous period.Finally,it is the overall evaluation of the role and status of academy history education in the development of modern Chinese history education in modern China.
