| With the further integration of education and modern information technology,smart class has captivated the public to become a hot topic of educational informationization domain gradually.Through wise teaching and learning,the efficient and precise teaching can be achieved,at the same time,diversified evaluation as well as personalized study can also be attained.In consequence,English smart class can convert people’s opinion about traditional English teaching to approach students-centered class.Self –efficacy is a kind of self-judgement on own capacities when people participate certain activities.When it comes to learning self-efficacy,it refers students’ self-judgement on the ability required to accomplish certain study tasks.Students with high learning self-efficacy are more hard-working and persistent in study compared with those with low learning self-efficacy.What’s more,when trapped in learning difficulties they would rather go ahead than give up easily and show less negative feelings.Therefore,this paper tends to discuss whether smart class can improve high school students’ learning self-efficacy.Researching the influence of smart class on students’ learning self-efficacy can not only explore the way of promoting English learning self-efficacy,but also cultivate students’ individuality as well as diversity.What’s more,this research can also popularize smart class this modern teaching model.Above all,in order to investigate the effect of English smart class on students’ learning self-efficacy and their grades in senior high school,a teaching experiment was carried out between 2 classes in grade 2 of TY No.11 high school,which last a term from 2019 to 2020.The chosen students completed the questionnaire of English learning self-efficacy survey before and after the experiment.Then the data collected from the survey is analyzed by SPSS,which indicates that:(1)English smart class based on LeKe platform can promote students’ learning self-efficacy effectively.(2)English smart class based on LeKe platform has a positive effect on students’ Englishgrades when compared with traditional English class.(3)High school students tend to adopt smart class to their English study.Therefore,teachers can adopt English smart class actively in their English teaching to enhance students’ self-efficacy as well as their grades in senior high school.Finally,this thesis mentions some problems and suggestions during the experiment,at the same time,it refers to the limitation of this research. |
