Smartclass is the consequence of collision,mixture and combination caused by the increasing development of information technology and eduactional teaching,which has transformed the conventional teaching method and concept.Foutunately,it provides a new guidance and direction to high school English teaching under the background of information-based society.However,although the goverment has widely popularized the Smartclass,it still rangs small areas from the perspective of teaching practice.With the aim of getting more and more schools,students and parents involved in Smartclass,helping teachers organize a practical and effective class,and hoping to bring up more comprehensive references for further Smart Class English teaching,this paper conducts the related research on English Smartclass.The paper’s main standing points are English teaching practice and English teaching effect,wanting to explore the following statements.Firstly,this paper hopes to discover the using condition of Smartclass in high school English class and finds the disvantages that there still exists.Secondly,this paper attempts to figure out more approaches to improving the teaching effect in Smart English class.Last,this paper tries to work out the effect that Smartclasst has on students’ English grade.Accroding to what has been presented above,this paper raises the background information,clarifies the significance,concept and characteristic of Smartclass,summarizes the literature,points out its theoretical bases and practical bases.Next the author designs a real English Smartclass combined with the concrete condition in high school.After class,the author investigate some students who are having Smart English classes to collect students’ attitude toward Smart English class and analyze the shortcoming of it.Meanwhile,the author interviews all teachers who are using Smartclass to teach students so as to know teacher’ using frquency and advice on Smartclass.In this way it can give more instructive guidance to further English teaching.Then,the author takes two classes as experimenting objects.One class is using Smartclass to do routine English task and the author will constantly observe and record students’ reactions to English class,while another class is using the traditional pattern as usual.This experiement lasts one term,conducting 3 tests totally.At the end of this experiment,the author adopts SPSS system to analyze the related data in order that it can see the effect that Smartclass has on students’ English grade.As a result,it makes a conclusion that Smartclss is popular among students and teachers,although it has so many aspects urged to be improved,such as,its teaching concept,techology,teaching method,safe guarantee and so on.It is known that emphasizing students’ dominant role in class,promoting teachers’ techological ability,updating Smartclass’ s system are important for a higher English class performance.Delightedly,it is also believed that Smartclass in English class can relive teachers’ teaching nurden,stimulates students’ learning interest and improve students’ English grade.At length,the paper sums up the whole passage by providing some alternative suggestions and exploring the innovation and weeknesses of this dissertation. |
