Since “The Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for Education Informatization” proposed by the Ministry of Education in 2016.The Internet infrastructure and application has developed rapidly in our country,which has brought new opportunities for the development of high-quality education.Smart class has become the best solution for education reform in the“Internet + era”,because it can strengthen the individualized teaching for students and focus on the quality of classroom teaching.In addition,high-quality online teaching resources and powerful online learning platforms have provided strong support for the development of Smart class.The learning mode using the Internet as a carrier penetrates into all le vels of the education field,which has an important impact on basic education.The English knowledge system in junior high schools is complex,and students of the same grade have different levels of understanding and learning ability,so there exists in a phenomenon of “Separation of learning and using”.The classroom teaching method is single and boring.The Cramming teaching method inhibits the development of learners’ autonomous learning ability,and it is difficult for learners to provide real learning situation.The teaching mode based on the Internet and smart teaching platform provides the possibility of simulating and creating a real language environment for modern English teaching.Wen Q iufang specifically puts forward the Production-Oriented Approach for the teaching problem of “Separation of learning and using”,emphasizing “Learning while using”.Therefore,the organic combination of the Production-Oriented Approach teaching process and the teaching steps of the Smart class are expected to construct an innovative teaching model to help students develop their English comprehensive capabilities and output capabilities.Taking the Production-Oriented Approach as teaching theory,this paper studies how to integrate the teaching process of “Motivating”,“Enabling” and “Assessing” with the three teaching steps of “before class”,“in class” and“after class” in the Smart class to construct a more flexible teaching model —— The “Smart teaching” + “Smart learning” mode under the Production-Oriented Approach theory.It is expected to achieve the high-efficiency output in English teaching and promote students to apply theoretical knowledge to practice.The conclusion of this study is that the combination of Production-Oriented Approach teaching concepts and Smart class can build a personalized mode that is more suitable for junior high school students’ English learning,and improve students’ English learning interest and English language ability.In this teaching mode,teachers are required to rationally design teaching programs according to the needs of students and the requirements of output goals,increase communication and cooperation between students,enhance teacher-student cooperation,build teacher-student communication channels,and answer students’ ques tions in a timely manner.Based on the “Smart Class” to design the sub-goals of “Alignment”,“Gradualness”,“Variety” and take care of the needs of students at different levels,so as to strengthen the students’ interest in learning and promote the achievement of output goals.
