Based on the author's interpreting practice,this report introduces,analyzes and reflects on the task process under the guidance of Triangular Model of Interpretive Theory.At the“2019 International Forum on Vocational Training for Rural Sustainable Development and the celebration of the 30 th Anniversary of Sino-German cooperation between Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Vocational Training Center Pingdu” held in Qingdao,China,the author completed the whispered and simultaneous interpreting tasks for Number One workshop.Whispered interpreting is a special form of simultaneous interpreting,in which the interpreter sits or stands close to the client and interpret without a booth or earphones.Given the noises on the spot,such tasks are demanding for the interpreter who has to decode and encode in real time.Hence it is of significance to the development of novice interpreters.Triangular Model of Interpretive Theory emphasizes the process of interpreting from "comprehension of the meaning" to "deverbalization" and then "reformulation of the meaning".This model has been verified by the author through this interpreting practice.Based on this model,the author summarizes practical strategies by analyzing specific cases in this interpreting practice.This practice report is expected to offer useful implications for both scholars and practitioners.
