A Practice Report On Simulated Interpretation Of The 17^th China ECR Conference Under The Guidance Of Interpretive Theory

China ECR conference is jointly sponsored by China Commodity coding center and China ECR Committee.Every year,nearly 100 top retailers from China retail industry,manufacturers,retail technology companies,consulting companies,logistics companies and other enterprises participate in the conference.China ECR conference not only creates a great opportunity for participating enterprises to seek business cooperation,but also provides a wonderful stage to show their strength and technology.Participating enterprises can not only understand the latest business philosophy and application technology at home and abroad,but also have the opportunity to have face-to-face exchanges with industry elites,experts and scholars to promote business cooperation.The practice report is based on the 17 th ECR Congress in China in 2019.The author selected the speeches of the four speakers in the plenary session of the conference as the materials for the simulated interpretation practice,and conducted a simulated Chinese-English simultaneous interpretation under the guidance of the interpretive theory.After interpretation,the author summarized the problems of listening during the process of interpreting,and put forward the “speculation”“simplification” and “prediction” to solve the problems.And then,the author analyzed some interpretation examples combined the principles of the simultaneous interpretation,such as “syntactic linearity” “information restructuring” and “temporary adjustment”.The author hopes to accumulate some experience for the real interpreting practice in the future and give readers more inspiration on simultaneous interpretation between Chinese and English.
