A Practice Report On Simulated E-C Simultaneous Interpretation Of The Story Of Textiles Under The Guidance Of Interpretive Theory

Silk is the quintessence of China and is also one of the bridges connecting eastern and western civilizations.With the development of "going global" strategy of China,the ancient and mysterious "silk culture" gradually unveiled.One documentary called ‘Art of Weaving---The Story of Textiles' introduces in detail the historical origin of Song brocade,one of the three major silks in China,and traditional production methods of cheongsam.The content is easy to understand and is very professional at the same time.This report takes' Art of Weaving---The Story of Textiles' as the object of interpretation and it is guided by the interpretive theory of the French school of interpretation.The interpretive theory is one of the most representative interpretation theories.The triangle model is of great guiding significance to translation practice.This paper combines the interpretive theory with various difficulties in the process of interpretation,and explores practical and effective strategies including addition,deletion,syntactic linearity,free translation in the process of interpretation.The aim of this report is to transform the source language into a more natural and authentic translation by applying the above translation techniques under the guidance of the interpretive theory.Through the practice of simultaneous interpretation and text analysis,the author believes that the interpretive theory can effectively guide the practice of interpretation.However,it is necessary to combine different translation strategies and skills according to different situations to deal with different expressions of source language.Taking the documentary as an example,the author has formed a report.And based on the practice of simulated interpretation,the author aimed to improve interpreting skills and accumulate experience for future interpreting practice.
