Applying Microcosmic Science In Art To User Interface Design

This project research is based on the premise of researching the microscopic scientific material world and microscopic material,designed an English interactive learning software.With the goal of improving college students’ interest and efficiency in English learning,this project based on scene-oriented design and interface design,and trying to use Microcosmic Science in Art to the user interface design.Through the usability test to verify the effect of the English interactive learning software and collect user feedback and iterate.Using microscopic equipment to observe substances,finding suitable images and then getting inspiration from the microscopic images for artistic creation,this kind of artistic creation that can be achieved by combining modern scientific technology is called Microcosmic Science in Art.This topic summarizes the methods of analyzing microscopic material images from the four aspects:form,appearance,color and texture,through the analysis of the application examples of Microcosmic Science in Art in graphic design,product design,architectural design,art creation and other fields.Using the method summarized in the previous period to analyze the microscopic material image,and combine the game teaching method to carry out the function design and interface design of the English learning software.The usability test was conducted in the form of a questionnaire.The nine dimensions of overall feeling,education,and artistic direction were used as evaluation indicators,with a perfect score of five points.A total of 123 valid questionnaires were collected.The overall score of 3.78 points for the target population,indicating that the design results basically meet the English learning requirements.The product designed in this project allow target users learn new English knowledge,and can increase the enthusiasm of target users to learn English.Interface design and visual design also get better feedback.Finally,according to the collected opinions,modify some functions and interface design of English learning software.The English interactive learning software designed in this project extracts materials from microscopic material forms,designs novel interfaces and functions,and brings users a brand-new visual experience and interactive experience in English learning,and improves the user’s interest in learning.The test obtained good feedback from the target group.This is an attempt of Microcosmic Science in Art in the field of user interface design,and it provides a certain reference value for the future development of Microcosmic Science in Art.
