| Chinese is the most spoken language in the world.With the continuous development of globalization and China’s growing strength,more and more countries have begun to attach importance to the popularization of Chinese,and Laos is one of the more active countries to promote and popularize Chinese.As the largest university with the largest number of Lao people,the Lao National University started its practice teaching of Chinese earlier in Laos.Over the years,it has also made good achievements in Chinese teaching,it has played a good role as a model for other Lao universities in promoting the education and dissemination of Chinese language and culture,but there are still problems in the teaching of Chinese in National Universities at present,this paper makes an in-depth study of the problems existing in the Chinese language education in Laos and puts forward some concrete countermeasures.Specifically,this research mainly includes the following aspects:this paper is based on the actual situation of Chinese teaching in Lao National University and the relevant theories of modern Chinese teaching,based on the methods of observation,questionnaire,interview and Literature Research,this paper investigates the problems of Chinese language education in Lao National University.First of all,it summarizes the overall situation of Chinese language teaching in Laos,and introduces the basic situation of Chinese language education in Lao National University based on the results of investigation and interviews,focusing on the Chinese language teaching and Chinese Culture Teaching activities at the National University,and then combining the current situation of Chinese language teaching at the National University of Laos,this paper analyzes the problems of Chinese language education in National Universities from four aspects:schools,teachers,students and textbooks,the main problems in the process of Chinese language teaching in Lao University are lack of funds,insufficient attention to Chinese language teaching and lack of effective reward and punishment mechanism for Chinese language teachers.However,the teachers’shortage and the low professional degree of Chinese teachers are the main problems of teachers.In this regard,this article believes that,national Universities should take measures to promote the further development of Chinese education from establishing perfect teaching management system,improving the selection standard of Chinese teachers,increasing the number of native Chinese teachers,and increasing the investment of Chinese teaching funds.Teachers should improve the teaching practice in Chinese teaching from three aspects:improving the professional level of Chinese teaching,establishing good teacher-student relationship and improving teaching methods,enriching the content of Chinese teaching and enhancing the interest of Chinese class.In the teaching material use aspect,should use has the high level outline teaching material,simultaneously strengthens the Chinese teaching material the applicability.It is necessary for students to strengthen their initiative learning awareness,promote their interest in learning Chinese,and enhance their understanding and learning of Chinese culture.At last,this paper brings forward a summary of the research on Chinese education in Lao National University. |
