A Study On The Selection Of Subjects In The Creation Of Folk Folk Dance Works

In the process of creating ethnic folk dance works,the choice of subject matter is the most direct positioning of the ethnic attributes,thematic content,formal style,and height of the works.It reflects the director’s artistic accomplishment,aesthetic taste,and theoretical creative thinking.Therefore,for dance choreographers,it is necessary to go deep into life and take root in the people in the concept of “art originates from life,higher than life”,and obtain creative themes and inspiration from field investigations.Furthermore,it is necessary to accurately grasp the characteristics of ethnic and folk dance styles,to rationally use the vocabulary of ethnic and folk dance,and to create high-level and fleshly dance works.This article mainly explores the choice of subject matter in the creation of ethnic folk dance works in combination with the creative practice of personal dance degree special works.The article is mainly divided into three parts: firstly,it analyzes the concept,connotation and importance of "theme choice" in the creation of folk and folk dance works;secondly,it introduces the author’s theme choice practice process in the creation of master’s degree works;Finally,based on the research content of the first two parts,the theme selection path of ethnic folk dance works is summarized: careful field investigation is the premise,in-depth study of ethnic culture is the foundation,focusing on “danceability” is the basis,and the essence of life is the key.
