| Compared to ordinary dance props,dance trails have the characteristics of being lightweight and iconic,and props have always played an important role in the arrangement and application of ethnic and folk dances.In ethnic and folk dance,small props are often used to reflect the role identity and era environment,enhance the ethnic atmosphere of the dance,and also improve the artistry and appreciation of the dance,better demonstrating the integration of ethnic and folk dance skills to the audience.Various ethnic groups in our country cleverly use small props in dance,highlighting the regional characteristics,lifestyle habits,and personality characteristics of their own dance.Using small props to expand the dynamic posture of dancers,enrich their performance levels,and play a finishing touch.Therefore,this study conducted literature review through direct,retrospective,and comprehensive methods to study the practical situation and application characteristics of small props in ethnic and folk dance,and to solve the problems of defining,classifying,and nature of small props in dance;Secondly,taking the dance works "Bo Gu(Bracelet)" and "Red Dragonfly" as examples,this article analyzes the application of small props in these two dance works,analyzes the significance of dance small props in ethnic and folk dance works,and combines the author’s own performance practice research in these two academic performance works.Furthermore,the article analyzes and provides various application ideas and practical methods of small props in ethnic and folk dance for others to reference. |
