The humor climate in organizational employee’s daily family life may not only improve their satisfaction with their families and their vigor at work,but also further improve their job creativity.Using an experience sampling methodology(ESM)through which 110 participators were surveyed for 10 consecutive workdays,this study demonstrated that family humor climate in the evening positively related to next-day employee’s job creativity via family satisfaction and work vigor in sequence.Moreover,employee’s daily sleep quality strengthened both the mediation effect of family satisfaction,and the serial mediation effect of family satisfaction and work vigor,in the relationship between family humor climate and job creativity.The result of the moderated-mediation effect showed that when sleep quality is high,the mediation effect of family satisfaction or the serial mediation effect of family satisfaction and work vigor is stronger.Jointly examining the positive effect of family humor climate and sleep quality on family satisfaction,work vigor and employee creativity,we confirmed a specific process of family-work enrichment,which may provide organizations and managers with a more positive perspective for creativity development. |
