All along the River is a novel written by British female writer Mary Elizabeth Braddon.Braddon is adept in conveying certain aesthetic information through the selection of vocabulary and the arrangement of syntactic structure.Besides,Braddon often embodies character’s emotion into the description of scene and conveys certain information through the meaning beyond language.This report employs the first two chapters of the novel as the source text of translation and Liu Miqing’s Translation Aesthetics Theory as the theoretic guidance.This report not only focuses on the aesthetic information analysis in formal system and non-formal system of translation aesthetic objective,but also concentrates on the subjective dynamics of translation aesthetic subjective.In the part of case analysis,the translator tries to apply the general principle of the aesthetic representation in translation so as to seize and represent the aesthetics in the original text.Among the application of theory,the standards of the aesthetic information at lexical and syntactical level guide the translator to find the aesthetic information in formal system of translation aesthetic objective.Besides,the empathy mechanism enables the translator to capture the aesthetic information in the non-formal system of translation aesthetic objective.The translator wishes to further improve the translation ability through the guide of Translation Aesthetics Theory.Besides,the translator also wishes to offer effective solutions for the aesthetic representation in literature translation through this translation report.
