MTCSOL International Students' ICT Capability Investigation And Research

IT is an important carrier of IT in Chinese international education,and ICT Capability is one of the core qualities of MTCSOL International Students.Based on the research on the deep integration of IT and Chinese as a second language teaching,this paper investigates the ICT Capability of MTCSOL International Students in five universities in Chongqing,and analyzes the survey data with SPSSAU online statistical software.Through the research,it is found that the overall level of ICT Capability of MTCSOL International Students is low,and the differences of ICT Capability among individual students are large.There are some difficulties in the use of related software and tools,and the ability of using IT to support autonomous learning and knowledge acquisition is low.Further study also found that there was no significant difference in the ability of ICT Capability between the male and female MTCSOL International Students.However,there are significant differences in the application ability of IT among MTCSOL International Students from different backgrounds,such as the country of origin,the length of stay in China,whether they have participated in IT training and Chinese teaching experience.The differences are as follows: the ICT Capability of MTCSOL International Students from developed countries is higher than that of developing countries,and that of developing countries is higher than that of underdeveloped countries;the longer time they come to China,the higher the ICT Capability of MTCSOL International Students;MTCSOL International Students who have participated in IT related training and Chinese teaching experience ICT Capability of students is higher than that of those who have not participated in IT related training and Chinese teaching experience.Finally,based on the analysis of the existing problems and reasons of the ICT Capability of the master students of Chinese international education,this paper proposes that the master students of Chinese international education should actively adapt to the IT of Chinese international education,create an information-based campus humanistic environment in Colleges and universities,increase the opportunities for the Chinese teaching practice of the master students of Chinese International Education and strengthen their ICT Capability The strategies and suggestions to improve the ICT Capability of MTCSOL International Students in these aspects.
