The source text of this translation practice is selected from The Routledge Encyclopedia of Translation Technology compiled by Professor Chan Sin-wai in 2015.The translator is mainly responsible for the translation of Chapters Three and Four of the book,which mainly introduce some basic functions of computer-aided translation system and the training of translators in computer-aided translation.With the rapid development of information technology,the use of computer aided translation system greatly improves the translation quality and efficiency.Through translating this book,not only help the translator to further understand the computer-aided translation system,but also conducive to grasp the latest trends in the development of computer-aided translation system.In the process of translation,the translator gives full play to the subjective initiative,makes practical use of the theory of eco-translatology to guide the translation process and the target text,and applies the principle of three-dimensional transformation to select and transform the target text properly and to make the translated text not only conformed to the expression habit of target language but also accurately conveyed the original information.In this report,the case analysis of translation is made from three dimensions of linguistic,culture and communication,and translation methods such as division,combination,recasting and conversion are used to solve some problems in the translation process.This translation report consists of five parts.The first part introduces the task of translation,including the source text and its features,the reasons for selecting the topic.The second part introduces the process of translation: pre-translation,while-translation and post-translation.The third part briefly introduces the development and main concepts of ecological translation theory.In the fourth part,some examples are analyzed on the basis of the principle of three-dimensional transformation of linguistic,culture and communication.In the fifth part,some existing problems and limitations during the translation practice are summarized.Through this translation practice,on the one hand,the translator's translation practice ability has been improved;on the other hand,the translator is fully aware of the importance of translation technology.To become a qualified translator,it is very important for a person to not only have a solid translation foundation,but also master the translation technology that keeps pace with the times.
