Study On Taoism In Jiangyin

The traditional culture of Taoism in Jiangyin City has profound implications.At present,Jiangyin Taoism has made some contributions in promoting the traditional Taoist culture.However,there are still many typical problems in its further development.Therefore,this paper chooses Jiangyin Taoism as the research topic.Through studying the existing local chronicles of Jiangyin and on ~ the ~ spot investigation,we can understand the history and development status of Jiangyin Taoism,and put forward suggestions for further development of Jiangyin Taoism.There are ten chapters in this paper.The first chapter is the introduction,which elaborates the basis for selecting the topic,the current research situation,the research contents and methods,the innovations and shortcomings.The second chapter is the background introduction of Jiangyin Taoism,including the history,geography,humanities and religious overview of Jiangyin.Except for the first two chapters,the other eight chapters are divided into two chapters.Chapters 3 to 6 are part 1,namely the historical chapters,which examine the historical development and evolution of Jiangyin Taoism.Chapter 3 is about the origin and early development of Jiangyin Taoism.Through the two aspects of Taoist temple construction and Taoist activities,this paper analyzes the origin and early development of Jiangyin Taoism.Chapter four is about the prosperity of Jiangyin Taoism in Tang and Song Dynasties,from the historical records of the rise and fall of Jiangyin Taoism in Tang and Song Dynasties;Chapter five is about the decline of Jiangyin Taoism in Ming and Qing Dynasties and the cultivation of Jiangyin Taoism in Tang and Song Dynasties.The development of Jiangyin Taoism in Ming and Qing Dynasties is sorted out from the aspects of construction,Taoist personages' activities as well as social and cultural activities.Chapter 6,the decline and revival of Jiangyin Taoism in modern times,describes the decline of Jiangyin Taoism in the Republic of China,from liberation to the decline of Jiangyin Taoism in the CulturalRevolution,and the revival of Jiangyin Taoism after the reform and opening up.Chapters 7 to 10 are part 2.Chapter 7 is the basic situation of contemporary Jiangyin Taoism,which includes the overall situation of Jiangyin Taoism,the organization and activities of the Association of taoists,problems and shortcomings in its development.Chapter 8 and Chapter 9 are two parts of the investigation of existing daoist temples in Jiangyin,and explore from the perspectives of the evolution of Taoist temples,hardware and software facilities,organizations and activities.The tenth chapter discusses the problems and measures in the development of contemporary Jiangyin Taoism.
