Using detailed historical data,the dissertation identifys the time of Birth and Death of Bai Yuchan.The paper analyzes the whole confusing life of Bai Yuchan,combing his main activtis in chronological order.The social interaction of Bai Yuchan be presented more deeply and in detail.Bai Yuchan' cosmologies were composed of cosmogony and cosmology of Shenxiao Sect.The cosmogony can be divided into three forms including Not to be and To be,Spirit(?)and Gas(?),and Nature,which is a step-by-step process.In parallel,Bai Yuchan had a set of cosmology of Shenxiao Sect.The basic proposition of Bai Yuchan's Taoism Subjectivity Theoy is "mind is Tao",which is the metaphysical foundation of his Theory.Further,the paper research the concepts of Mind Nature and Sprite ect and the relationships among those concepts on his theory.Bai Yuchan's Gong Fu Theory of Taoism advocates "inner practice become Alchemy outer practice become Thunder spells".The practices all based on the acupuncture points and meridians.His Inner Alchemy practice inherited earlier South Lineage'theories including Zhang Boduan and Chen Nan's etc.Thunder spells practice inherited earler ShenXiao sect's theories including Wang Wenqing and Lin Lingsu's etc.The Syncretism of Confucianism Buddhism and Taoism is general trend of Song Dynasty religious development.Bai Yuchan delivered a sermon wherever he went,communicating with the Buddhists and Confucians widely.Based on the Taoism core idea in theory and blended with the thought of Confucianism and Buddhism,he built a relatively complete theoretical system and laid a solid theoretical foundation for the three religions of the race and the different development-like state in the future.Bai Yunchan created the organizations of the Mission and commandments.They attentioned to realiy and involved in the world energetically.At the same time,they always kept detached attitudet.Inner Alchemy of Southern Lineage preached Inner Alchemy and Thunder spells of Shenxiao Sect together.After Bai Yunchan,there were tow lineages which followed the tradition of Inner Alchemy of Southern Lineage,one was Inner Alchemy factions,anther was Thunder spells factions.There are several innovations of the dissertation:firstly,Data are new;second,views are new;third,the Study is systemic.the inadequacies of my paper is that some contents has not be covered,such as Ethics and relations with civil religion about him.
