Abstract/Summary:
As a special category in the vocabulary system,color words are often used with distinct features.They contain not only basic meanings,but also unique cultural connotations.The cultural connotation of color words is necessary in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,because it has different meanings in different cultural backgrounds,and it is of great significance for foreigners to understand Chinese color culture and national psychology.The object of this study is the treatment of Chinese color words in textbooks.The Chinese textbooks used by learners are not only a bridge between teaching and learning,but also a responsibility of disseminating Chinese culture.The study of color words in textbooks is conducive to examining the importance that Chinese people attach to color words themselves,discovering the advantages,shortcomings and shortcomings of textbook compilation,understanding and mastering the correct use of color words,rich cultural connotations and Chinese national psychology,reducing cultural conflicts in cross-cultural communication,and thus promoting friendly coexistence and cooperation among all nations in the world.Cultural blending.This paper will take the comprehensive series of textbooks of Developing Chinese as an example to study the treatment of color words in textbooks.Starting from the analysis of the position and form of color words appearing in textbooks,combining with the compiling principles,teaching objectives and Outline of Chinese Level Vocabulary and Chinese Character Grade,the purpose of textbooks’ arrangement is analyzed,so as to further study the arrangement of color words in corresponding textbooks.Rationality,and then try to put forward relevant teaching suggestions.In view of this,this paper will be divided into five parts.The first part introduces the research background,purpose and significance.The second part is about the research status of color words.The third and the fourth part is the main part of this article,the third part is to analyze the Developing Chinese comprehensive series of six color word in this teaching material,combining the teaching goal and the Chinese proficiency vocabulary and grade outline Chinese characters,from the color word formation,semantics and pragmatics,analysis of the teaching material and the selection of a particular color words the purpose of this arrangement,and the characteristics of the overall arrangement of color words;In the fourth part,according to the analysis results of the third part,the author puts forward Suggestions on the arrangement of color words and the teaching of color words in the comprehensive series of Developing Chinese textbooks.The fifth part is the conclusion.
