Strategies Of Translating White Paper Of Australian Government In The Light Of Skopostheorie

Globalization witnesses the more and more important role white paper of government plays in the aspects of economy,politics,and culture.This paper discusses the language features of white paper,introduces the basic concept and development of Skopostheory,and demonstrates how to apply the theory to the translation of white paper.Our North,Our Future: White Paper on Developing Northern Australia was released in June 2015 by the Australian government.The author takes it as an example to illustrate how Skopostheory helps in translating white paper on the lexical,syntacical,and textual level respectively.It is hoped that this paper could provide some valuable references to the E-C translation of white paper of government.
