Oral expression is one of the most complex social cognitive skills.In the process of second language learning,spoken course is an important part of second language learning and also an important course for second language learners.Spoken Chinese textbooks play an important role in oral teaching and learning.It not only provides language templates for oral learners,but also provides teaching methods and materials for teachers.Good textbooks can maximize the teaching effect.Therefore,up to now,many scholars still studying how to compile textbooks.In the field of foreign Chinese teaching,there are many researches on the primary spoken Chinese textbooks,but few on the intermediate and advanced spoken Chinese textbooks.The mainly discuss are about: What vocabulary and grammar should be included in the intermediate and advanced spoken Chinese textbooks? What topics are set and how can they help students consolidate and practice? How to achieve the intermediate spoken Chinese teaching objectives through the study of the content in the textbooks.The paper selected two sets of intermediate spoken Chinese textbooks which are widely praised,Development of Chinese,Intermediate Spoken Chinese(?)(?)and Intermediate Spoken Chinese(1)(2)(Improve).Take Comparative analysis about two textbooks,to find their similarities and differences,advantages and disadvantages between two spoken Chinese textbooks.Try to provides suggestions and references for the compilation of intermediate spoken Chinese textbooks.There are six parts in this paper,except for the introduction and conclusion.The introduction mainly analyzes the research background,research status,research objects and research problems,and illustrates the research methods used in this study.The first part discusses the theoretical basis of the compilation of intermediate spoken Chinese textbooks,including the textbook compilation principle,the theory of language function,and the input and output theories of second language teaching.The second part is to compare the compilation ideas of the two sets of textbooks,and point out their influence on the structure arrangement and content presentation of textbooks.The third part compares the texts of the two sets of textbooks,discuss the text structure and text content arrangement.It includes the structure arrangement of the whole and part of the text,the selection and development of the topic and theme in the text,the edit of the dialogue content,the collection of the corpus,the design of the characters and so on.The fourth part discusses the selection of new words in the two textbooks,counts the total vocabulary of the two sets of textbooks and the arrangement of vocabulary in each lesson,and also explores the similarities and differences of the selection of new words in the two sets of textbooks.The fifth part compares the two sets of exercises and discusses the purpose and function of different exercises.In the last part,according to the previous comparative research results,Suggestions are provided for the compilation of intermediate spoken Chinese textbooks in four aspects: texts,new words,exercises and guidance books.It is hoped that the contents of this study will be helpful to the compilation of foreign Chinese intermediate spoken Chinese textbooks.
