Taoan Mengyi was firstly published in 1775.This book was wrote by Zhang Dai,created with his memories and reflected various matters of Ming dynasty.It contains a great deal of dialectal words.Taoan Mengyi mainly has two editions.One of the edition contains one volume,the other one contains eight volumes.There are a large number of annotated versions and translation versions which were published since 20th century.The study adopts the version which was proofread by Ma Xingrong.And it was published by Zhonghua Book Company in 2007.At the same time,We consult the other versions.This book contains ninety-three dialectal words,mainly has six categories:noun,verb,adjective,pronoun,adverb and onomatopoeia.And this paper use a lot of local annals,novels in dialects to explain nine words,including"Yanyou"(??)"Gebian"(??)"Zhuan"(?)"Kuo"(?)"Wa"(?)"Zhaojie"(??)"Zoukong"(??)"Xiju"(??)"Lie"(?).The purpose of the study is to clarify their pronunciation,writing methods,meanings,the evolutionary path and so on.Some of them have many writing methods.For example,"Yanyou"(??)can be wrote as"Yanyou"(??)"Yanyou"(??)"Yanniu"(??)"Yanyou"(??)"Yanyou"(??).Some of them have a lot of meanings.For example,"Wa"(?)means climb,pull,take things by hand or utensils.And some of them were widely used in Ming dynasty,such as"Zhaojie"(??),means crisp,is no longer used from Qing dynasty.What we do are helpful to know the use of dialectal words in the Ming dynasty,and have a significant value in the researching on Modern Chinese and historical dialects.
