Investigation Of The Publication And Use Of International Chinese Digital Textbooks

Digital textbooks are a new modern textbook that has emerged along with learning methods such as mobile learning and fragmented reading.It plays an important role in improving teaching efficiency and improving teaching effectiveness.The academic community is constantly researching digital textbooks.This paper is mainly a preliminary study of international Chinese digital textbooks.We analyzed the purpose and significance of this study and concluded that Chinese paper textbooks are no longer able to meet the diverse needs of current Chinese learners for textbooks.The emergence of digital textbooks provides a new way of thinking for the development of international Chinese textbooks.The study of Chinese digital textbooks will help to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of Chinese textbooks.This research is mainly based on the survey of the publication and use of Chinese digital textbooks.Through publishing surveys,we found that the current number of Chinese digital textbooks is less in quantity,and there are three types of conversion,media,and interactive,mainly based on media;In the classification of course types,there are several types of courses,mainly based on comprehensive courses;These textbooks have great advantages in expanding students’ horizons,enriching the way in which knowledge is presented,and enhancing the interest of learning.However,there are some limitations,such as a small number,a single function,poor class orientation,insufficient interaction,affecting physical health,and the content of the textbook is inconsistent with classroom teaching.In the investigate of use,the use of Chinese digital textbooks is not very common,but it is highly anticipated by teachers and students.Chinese paper materials are still popular among teachers and students;existing Chinese digital textbooks have shortcomings in teaching content and terminal equipment;teachers and students expect the textbook to provide the display and evaluation of the basic knowledge of Chinese and the function of adapting to mobile learning.At the same time,through this survey,we believe that Chinese digital textbooks should make efforts and improvements in the connection between resource platform and classroom teaching,the deepening of interactive functions,the knowledge presentation of paper textbooks and the learning function of language elements.We hope that this study will inspire the healthy development of international Chinese digital textbooks.
