In the face of century-old changes and the pandemic,China has made a major decision to do a good job in its work related to agriculture,rural areas and farmers,and continued to comprehensively promote rural revitalization.The countryside is the cradle of Chinese culture.The content of Chinese countryside in TCFL textbooks is an important source for Chinese learners to obtain the cognition of Chinese countryside image.This paper selects five TCFL textbooks of general type,cultural type and specialized type(taking business Chinese as an example),and investigates the rural image of China constructed by contemporary TCFL textbooks through content analysis method,comparative method and questionnaire survey.It finds that the rural image of China in TCFL textbooks is as follows: Economic development is fast,economic policy vigorously support,rural non-agricultural industries rise,rural prosperity is just around the corner;Ecological livable,but there are also agricultural land pollution,destruction and other ecological problems;Simple folk customs;Strong awareness of education,the overall level of education has been improved;Rural art is unique and colorful;Rural political construction content is very little;Rural infrastructure is poor,but getting better;Gradually improve the social security system;The gap between urban and rural areas is narrowing.The results of the questionnaire survey show that Chinese learners’ cognition of Chinese countryside is generally consistent with the textbook.Finally,this paper puts forward that we should pay attention to the uniqueness and diversity of rural image,give consideration to the time and authenticity of rural image content,and give proper consideration to learners’ cognition."Village" should not be avoided in Chinese teaching and cultural transmission,but should be presented in a planned,selective and positive way. |
