The Literary Research On The Four North-Mountain Scholars

The Four North-mountain Scholars were four scholars in Jinhua di strict during the Song and Yuan dynasties.Their names were He Ji,Wang Bo,Jin Lv Xiang and Xu Qian.As Zhu Xi's students,they inhe rited Huang Gan's thoughts.The Four North-mountain Scholars were p hysiologists,so their literary creation had a unique style.But there wer e few research production in academia.Therefore,this thesis focuses o n the Four North-mountain Scholars' literary creation.This thesis divided into three parts.The first part is introduction.The second parts are the body portion.Chapter One,Chapter Two,Ch apter Three,Chapter Four and Chapter Five are respectively elaborated the Four North-mountain Scholars' life and books,Neo-Confucianism and academic context,poetry creation,prose creation and literary thoug hts.The third part is a chronological table.Chapter One is the Four North-mountain Scholars' life and books' researches.Going through literature and local chronicles,the Four Nor th-mountain scholars intercourse with local people.They created lots of works.Chapter Two focus on the connection between Neo-Confucianis m and literary creation.The connection are the Confucian Orthodoxy t houghts and to obtain knowledge by investigation of things.Two parts consist of not the Four North-mountain scholars' creation but their imp ortant standards of evaluating person.Chapter Three is about the Four North-mountain Scholars' poetry creation.This apart divided into argum entation poem,landscape poetry,Yongwu poem,painting poem and hist orical poem.These poems explained their Neo-Confucianism.Chapter F our analyses the Four North-mountain Scholars' prose creation.Their ar ticles alway about knowledge,art and calligraphy.It follows that four person have profound knowledge.They had created many articles whic h about national economy and the people's livelihood.Chapter Five gr ooms the Four North-mountain Scholars' literary thoughts.The Four No rth-mountain Scholars insisted on the Writing-Dao thoughts.Wang Bo had raised Healthy Atmosphere thought.Four persons always created herioic works.Meanwhile,their works were well-regulated.
