Life satisfaction is a concept that has been widely studied in psychological literature. This quantitative study considers the relationship between self-control and cultural intelligence, including the evaluation of satisfaction of specific life domains, and how the interaction between these variables contribute to life satisfaction. For this study, international students across China were reached using convenience sampling method as well as snowballing method.Using four existing scales(namely Self Scoring Self-Control Scale,Short Form Cultural Quotient,Degree of Satisfaction with Various Aspects of Life, and Satisfaction with Life Scale),a questionnaire was used to assess the above-mentioned variables.Participants were compared between gender and age groups, and linear regression was used to account for the moderating effect of cultural intelligence with self-control and life satisfaction.Out of the four hypotheses tested, three were found to be statistically significant.
