As the Confucius Institute has continued to grow and develop in recent years,more and more international volunteer Chinese language teachers have been sent to other countries in the world for Chinese language teaching,Chinese cultural dissemination and other related tasks.Develop and make an indelible contribution.But at the same time,with the increasing number of expatriate teachers and international Chinese language teacher volunteer groups,many problems have also emerged.Although many of them are students majoring in Chinese international education or related education,they do not have enough teaching time and have not accumulated rich practical teaching experience.After entering the teaching position,they will face the problem of insufficient teaching experience and face many practical classrooms in teaching.Management and cross-cultural communication issues are often at a loss.Second,they must face the problem of adapting to social interpersonal relationships in a foreign country.Third,they must face the problem of adaptation caused by cultural differences.These are all for the international Chinese teacher volunteers themselves and their work—Chinese teaching.Bring harm.This article analyzes the adaptation status of international Chinese teacher volunteers through questionnaire surveys and interviews with international Chinese teacher volunteers in the UK,combined with the author’s own internship experience in the UK,and analyzes the problems that exist.The Center,Confucius Institutes,and International Chinese Teacher Volunteers themselves put forward corresponding solutions. |
