General Secretary Xi Jinping said: "Language is the best key to understanding a country." With the increasingly close exchanges between China and Thailand,Chinese teaching in Thailand is in full swing.As a kind of practical education system for different industries,Thai vocational education is paying more and more attention to the cultivation of students' Chinese proficiency.Chinese materials are the carrier of teacher's teaching and student's learning.The quality of materials is an important factor that affects the quality of Chinese teaching.For a special group of Thai vocational school students,Thailand has published some local materials,and schools can according to their own needs select materials,but there are some problems in terms of content and form of materials.According to the survey,"Chinese for Application" and " Chinese for Communication " are used most.Therefore,this paper focuses on these two sets of local materials.The first chapter introduces the value and research methods of the two sets of textbooks in this paper and the current research status of the second language materials.And shows the theory and evaluation theory of the second language teaching materials and the classification theory of the second language teaching materials.The second chapter,combining the author ' s teaching practice in Thailand,introduces the development of vocational education in Thailand and the current situation of Chinese teaching in Thai vocational schools.The third chapter analyzes the arrangement of two sets of local materials in terms of teaching objectives,syllabus,student ability performance indicators,pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar,conversation,and character image,and finds that these two sets of materials are used in Thai vocational schools.In the fourth chaper,some of the problems existing in the materials,and suggestions for the inadequacies of the content and form of the two sets of materials.I hope that the research in this paper can provide assistance for the preparation of local Chinese textbooks in Thai vocational schools,and provide suggestions for Chinese teachers in the selection of teaching materials.It also hopes to provide reference for the study of professional and professional textbooks at home and abroad.On the basis of the second language textbook writing theory and second language textbook evaluation theory.
