AbstractWith the increase in the international status of China, Chinese has become increasingly popular. Nowadays, an increasing number of schools in Thailand have set Chinese course. The author has 10 months teaching experience of Chinese language in Thailand. Firstly, the author gives a summary of Chinese textbooks of school in Thailand by reading the literature, to inquire about the current using situation of Chinese teaching materials of vocational schools in Thailand. Secondly, the author uses Thailand localized Chinese textbook Chinese for Communication as the object of study, and combines with the teaching experience to analyse the text, words, practice, culture and aspects of Chinese characters. Then, the author does a survey among the teachers and students respectively and analyses this textbook in depth to discover the problems on the compilation of the Chinese for Communication in Thailand, such as obsolete text content, the difficulty of after-school exercises, cultural introduction and so on. And the author hopes to use the own teaching experience to give some suggestions, for example, textbooks should be modified as soon as possible, so that it can be more accurate and scientific. The Chinese textbooks in Thailand should be more improved for students’ Chinese learning. The author hopes to provide a reference for the compilation of the Chinese teaching materials in Thailand and helps with the future preparation of teaching materials in Thailand. |
