| From the perspective of second language teaching and cross-cultural communication,this paper chooses students from Confucius Institute of Khartoum University in Sudan and Chinese Department of Khartoum University in Sudan.On the basis of reorganizing the cultural words in the primary textbook of Developing Chinese,and combining with the actual teaching practice,this paper made a survey on the situation of Sudanese students in acquiring Chinese cultural words through questionnaires,interviews and data analysis.This topic originated from the author’s actual teaching procedure in Confucius Institute of Khartoum University in Sudan.Although Sudanese students are enthusiastic about learning Chinese cultural words and made a good response in the classroom,the learning effect and feedback are not ideal,and the frequency of output of Chinese cultural words in daily communication,homework and examination are not high.Therefore,according to the ideas of finding,thinking,researching and solving problems,From the study of the literature on the ontology of Chinese cultural words to the study of the factors affecting the acquisition of Chinese cultural words by Sudanese students,the corresponding suggestions for the teaching of Chinese cultural words are given.In recent years,the Chinese Dream and China craze have swept across countries like a hurricane,and Confucius Institutes have been set up all over the world.People increasingly choose to devote more energy and time to Chinese culture and Chinese learning.The ultimate goal of language learning is to achieve effective cross-cultural communication,and learning to feel a culture is an indispensable factor in learning a language.Chinese cultural words build a bridge between second language learners and Chinese culture,which carries the extensive and profound cultural content of Chinese civilization,and also as one way to quickly close the gap between learners and Chinese culture.Learning Chinese cultural words can help learners understand China better,and learning Chinese cultural words well can help learners achieve cross-cultural communication more smoothly.This paper mainly discusses from four aspects: ontology research,textbook analysis,survey and statistics,and relevant suggestions.Ontological research,mainly from the definition,classification,nature of Chinese cultural words,through the research and summary of previous scholars research results,based on the background of teaching Chinese as a foreign language to study the essence of Chinese cultural words;textbook analysis,based on the research of Chinese cultural words ontology,based on Chinese teaching in Sudan,summed up the textbooks that Sudanese students use the most frequently.The cultural words in the Elementary Textbooks of Developing Chinese lay a solid foundation for the investigation and study of the acquisition situation;in the aspect of investigation and statistics,this paper makes a questionnaire survey on the acquisition of Chinese cultural words by Sudanese students and carries out statistical analysis at various levels;finally,in the aspect of relevant suggestions,it puts forward some suggestions from three different perspectives: textbooks,teachers and students.Suggestions on the arrangement,teaching and learning of chemical words. |
