With the development of China’s economy and the enhancement of China’s international influence,more and more foreigners learn Chinese,and more foreigners want to learn Chinese culture.Chinese as a foreign language teaching material is the important way for foreigners to learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture,the quality of the teaching materials have important effects on their Chinese learning.So far,the amount and type of Chinese as a foreign language textbooks in China are extremely abundant.Therefore,improving and perfecting the teaching materials to improve the quality of the existing teaching materials is more important than bulk to write teaching materials.This paper selects two representative cross-strait Chinese textbooks,The New Practical Audio-visual Chinese and A Course in Chinese,and contrasts the cultural words of the two teaching materials in detail.Includeing many aspects:the quantity,type,distribution,rankings,the repeat rate of Cultural words in practice,the contrast of Cultural words with Graded vocabulary.To find out the problems existing in the teaching materials by comparing,and write optimization model of A Course in Chinese optimization on this basis,to promote the improvement of the textbooks.This paper is divided into five chapters altogether.The first chapter is the introduction,this chapter introduces the research purpose,research significance, research objects,research methods and literature review.The research object of this paper are The New Practical Audio-visual Chinese and A Course in Chinese,the research method are comparison method,literature research and quantitative analysis method.Through the contrastive analysis of the two teaching materials,to promote the optimization of the teaching materials.The second chapter statistics the cultural words in the two textbooks,explores the contrast of cultural words in text.Finding out the deficiency through the type,dominant cultural words,implicit cultural words and ranking.The third chapter studies the cultural words in practice,contrasts the cultural words in practice with the cultural words in textbooks,compares the repeat rate of cultural words in practice.The fourth chapter compares cultural words in teaching materials and Graded vocabulary,analyses the difficulty of writing cultural words.The fifth chapter finds out the problems existing in the teaching materials by comparing,and summarizes the written opinions of culture words according to these problems,at the same time,chooses a text of A Course in Chinese and writes optimization model,in order to promote the improvement of the cultural words in teaching materials,making foreign students have a better understanding of Chinese culture, ang promoting the development of Chinese international education.
