| Vocabulary teaching,as the basis of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,plays an important role in cultivating students’ language communicative competence.Teachers usually actively choose appropriate vocabulary teaching methods to maximize the teaching effect.However,teachers’ tendency to choose vocabulary teaching strategies and actual situation may be different,and the teaching effect may also be different.This paper takes the Chinese comprehensive course teachers,foreign students and vocabulary teaching strategies of the school of international education of guangxi university for nationalities as the research object,and makes an in-depth investigation and research on the selection of vocabulary teaching strategies of comprehensive course teachers by using the methods of observation,questionnaire and statistical analysis.First through class observation and questionnaires that comprehensive course teachers’ overall selection of vocabulary teaching strategy orientation and the actual situation is the same,from high to low in turn to direct vocabulary teaching strategies,indirect vocabulary teaching vocabulary teaching strategy and cooperation strategy,three comprehensive course teachers for the selection of specific vocabulary teaching methods each have similarities and differences.The level of classroom communication in vocabulary teaching of the comprehensive course teachers of the zero-point class and the beginner class is medium,while the level of classroom communication in vocabulary teaching of the comprehensive course teachers of the intermediate class is low.and the overall effectiveness evaluation of vocabulary teaching strategies by teachers and students is consistent with the teachers’ selection tendency and actual situation of vocabulary teaching strategies.Then,the influence of teachers and students’ own factors on the effect of vocabulary teaching strategies was analyzed,and it is found that the age,Chinese proficiency and learning time of international students have an influence on the effect of vocabulary teaching strategy.The older international students have lowerevaluation,stronger anxiety and lower participation in activities.For students without Chinese proficiency,the evaluation of the effectiveness of vocabulary teaching strategies by international students who have studied Chinese for less than half a year is u-shaped,first low and then high.Older international students have lower evaluation on the effectiveness of vocabulary teaching strategies.At last,the author puts forward some Suggestions for the comprehensive Chinese course in the target language environment: first,the selection of direct vocabulary teaching strategies should be paid more attention to,and specific direct vocabulary teaching methods should be appropriately selected;Second,for indirect vocabulary teaching strategy,we should further improve the frequency of selection,enhance its auxiliary function,and actively choose extra-curricular materials to improve classroom communication.Third,the selection of cooperative vocabulary teaching strategies should be further improved,and more attention should be paid to the influence of teachers and students. |
