Research On The Prevalence Of Rural Gambling From The Perspective Of Rural Culture

The CPC Central Committee and the State Council regard the custom civilization as the spiritual guarantee for rural revitalization,to cultivate civilized customs,good family traditions,simple folk customs,and improve the level of social civilization in rural areas constantly,all of these indicate the status of local style civilization in rural revitalization.By sorting out relevant domestic and foreign literature,We found that there are few research results on rural gambling,and most of the research focuses on the legal perspective,social governance perspective and cultural perspective,among the research results from the cultural perspective,it is mostly limited to take culture as one of the many "causes" of the prevailing rural gambling,or take rural gambling as the entry point of rural culture research to study the development and innovation of culture,what's more,the method of research tend to adopt standard analysis method,and it lack empirical research on the development of rural culture and the prevalence of rural gambling,this leaves room for empirical analysis of the prevalence of rural gambling.Based on this,this paper mainly uses literature method,observation method and interview method,select T township in northeast Sichuan province as the research area,based on the theory of Cultural functionalism,to analyze the relationship between the development of rural culture and the prevalence of rural gambling deeply,and explore the influence mechanism of rural cultural development on the prevalence of rural gambling,thus lay the foundation for solving the problem of rural gambling prevalence and boosting the construction of rural culture from the perspective of rural culture?The study found that,rural gambling is more popular than ever,it presents such realistic representations as the popularization and professionalization of the gambling crowd,the daily and periodic of the gambling time,the diversity and concentration of gambling forms,the openness and privacy of gambling behaviors,which have changed the gambling state of traditional rural society.The change of traditional rural culture,the spread of unhealthy rural culture and the expansion of urban culture have all promoted the prevalence of gambling activities in rural society,which are the important influencing factors for the current prevalence of rural gambling.The influence of rural traditional culture's change on the prevalence of rural gambling is mainly reflected in the following aspects:the decline of traditional farming culture make gambling the main form of entertainment,the weakening of the rural folk norms reduce the constraint on rural gambling behavior,the metamorphosis of family ethics culture increases the participation of rural gambling behavior.The influence of unhealthy rural culture's spread on the prevalence of rural gambling is mainly reflected in the following aspects:the thriving gambling atmosphere encourages a preference for gambling,the mind of loving ease and hating work adds preference for gambling.The influence of urban culture's expansion on the prevalence of rural gambling is mainly reflected in the following aspects:the popularization of network information technology increases the accessibility of rural gambling behaviors,the diffuse culture of market economy promotes the attraction of rural gambling,the development of urban quick culture expands the living space of rural gambling behavior.Therefore,solving the prevalence of rural gambling from the perspective of rural culture requires the joint efforts of the state,society and individuals,to realize the value and revival of rural culture.By flourishing the traditional farming culture,regulating the family ethics culture,strengthening the rural folk norms,and correcting the bad rural culture,to increase the endogenous power of the rural culture's revival,through the benign interaction between urban and rural culture and other external forces to promote the revival of the rural culture,in this way,the rural public cultural life can be reconstructed,gambling is suppressed in rural society,thus we can shape a good rural cultural order,and we will welcome the revitalization of the countryside with a new look.
