In recent years,some English teachers in primary English classes in China have blindly imparted Western culture and weakened the excellent traditional Chinese culture,which has led some primary and middle school students in China to blindly praise the West and despise the excellent traditional Chinese culture in the process of learning and growth.As a front-line English teacher in primary school,I have experienced that many children talk about western culture several times,but they are in the throat when introducing excellent traditional Chinese culture.I deeply feel that English learning is not only the input of Western culture,but also the output of Chinese excellent traditional culture in English.Based on this background,this paper mainly studies the integration of Chinese excellent traditional culture into primary school English classroom teaching,trying to explore a better integration of Chinese excellent traditional culture into primary school English classroom teaching strategies,improve pupils' ability to express Chinese excellent traditional culture in English,and ultimately promote the overall development of primary school English education.This study is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which systematically expounds the research background,purpose,significance,ideas and methods of the paper,and collates the relevant research status at home and abroad,which provides a theoretical basis for this study.In the second part,through interviews and classroom observations,the author understands the current situation of the integration of Chinese excellent traditional culture into primary English class teaching and the causes of the problems that it is difficult for Chinese excellent traditional culture to integrate into primary English class.The third part mainly discusses the research of integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture into primary English class based on Constructivism theory.It puts forward the classroom teaching and practice with festivals,characters and regional cultures as the main contents,and innovatively refines Chinese excellent traditional culture into classroom practice teaching in three different directions and fields: Spring Festival,Meng Mu,Su Shi and Chengdu.Research.In the fourth part,through interviews with students and teachers,the author draws practical feedback on the integration of Chinese excellent traditional culture into primary English class.Students have a better understanding of the excellent traditional Chinese culture and are able to export culture confidently.At the same time,their interest in learning English has increased,their oral expression ability has improved,and their teachers' humanistic and professional qualities have been improved.The fifth part puts forward the teaching strategies of integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture into primary school English classroom from the three dimensions of pre-class,in-class and after-class.The sixth part is about the suggestions and prospects of integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture into primary English class.
