Research On Music Features Of Tianqin Culture In Longzhou

Tianqin is stringed folk instrument played by Bupian branch and Budai branch people(two branches of Zhuang people,an ethnic group who mostly live in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China.)It is unofficially called "Ding Ding" by Zhuang People.It is written "den" in Zhuang Language and "then" in Vietnamese.With nearly one thousand years of history,it widely spreads among the border areas between China and Vietnam,places like Tongzhong,Ningming and Longzhou.It is widely played in many shows due to the special shapes,tones and its long history.Among all the different types of Tianqin,Longzhou Tianqin enjoys the widest popularity by scholars and the public.Longzhou is listed in the intangible cultural heritage of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.It has the good reputation as "the Hometown of Tianqin Art and Model Tourism Area of Chinese Folk Culture Heritage".Research on music featuresof Tianqin culture in Longzhou researches specially on Longzhou Tianqin and studies its background,facts,theoretical meanings and objectives as the first step,then takes the culture origins of Tianqin,Banchi Country,Jinlong town,Longzhou city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the investigation area.By visiting and investigating the local areas,the writer collects a lot of research materials and probe furtherly by analyzing related documents.Through referring to the existing problems in the inheriting,innovating and developing processes,the writer tries to study a better way to preserve and develop the music culture of Longzhou Tianqin.The writer majorly study the music composing,playing,singing,inheriting and innovating of Longzhou Tianqin.It contains that Longzhou Tianqin is very distinctive and unique representing local culture.Its music culture shares common features with other ethnic group musical instruments andalso enjoys its own characteristics.By analyzing the shape and craftsmanship of Longzhou Tianqin,the writer draws its musical culture features that the playing and singing ways varies and forms differentiates.Through analyzing the musical forms of traditional and modern songs,we can easily see their similarities.Both music have their own distinctive rhythms,beats and scales.In the terms of contents and style,they retain their own characteristic and absorb the Vietnamese Nong People and Dai People's features at the same time,forming a unique performance style.The musical culture features of Longzhou Tianqin represent the characteristics of Chinese ethnic groups' art forms development.In order to adapt to modern society's development,only by retaining the existed distinctiveness and combining the national arts and social development,without being affected by the commercial environment,can Longzhou Tian inherit and carry forward its precious culture heritage.
