Yunnan has a unique natural and geographical environment, and has the best conditions to meet the growth and development of tea.The continuous tea mountain in Menghai has formed a unique suitable tea environment, which is an important tea producing area in China.Tea is not only a commodity of great economic value in Yunnan, but also an essential element of the Tibetan people’s daily life and diet.At the beginning of the late Qing Dynasty, with the increasingly prominent border crisis in China,Britain supported the invasion of India tea and the decline of tea in Sichuan, which provided an important opportunity for the rise of Yunnan tea. With its superior natural conditions and location advantages,Yunnan has become the main supplier of Tibet border tea.Tea serves as a link to promote economic development in border minority areas and effectively safeguard border stability and national unity. Before 1939.the production of Yunnan border tea was concentrated in the Menghai area, and the Han and Tibetan caravans were selling tea in Tibet,Lijiang and Anobu Ko.After the founding of the Buddha sea tea factory in 1940,Yunnan side sale tea was included in the national unified marketing range, and the establishment and operation of the tea joint transportation department opened up a new transportation route from Burma Jing Dong,Rui Yang,Yangon and Calcutta to reach the GaLin collapse. In 1941,Kang Zang tea factory was set up to continue the traditional process of producing and processing tea, forming the Yunnan border tea processing center, which is the center, and transported to Tibet by Lijiang.Yunnan Tibetan selling side tea has formed the production and marketing mode of Menghai area as the raw material producing area,Xiaguan as the processing center and Lijiang as the transhipment place. On the basis of extensive collection of archives and historical records, this paper describes the development of Yunnan Tibetan tea in the period of the Republic of China, and made a new summary and exploration of its influence.By combing the historical changes of Yunnan’s tight tea,we can see that it is of great significance to meet the needs of the Tibetan compatriots and to the formation and expansion of the tea market in Yunnan. What is worth mentioning is that the production and marketing mode of Bian Mei tea formed in the Republic of China laid the foundation for the production and marketing of Yunnan’s tea in People’s Republic of China after its founding.Bian pin tea is an important part of China’s ethnic policy and an important link between the political, economic and cultural ties of Yunnan and Tibet. |
