Research On Chinese "Factory Films" In The New Century

Since the beginning of the new century,as a unique subcategory of industrial-themed films,"factory films"have greatly enriched the expression paths of industrial-themed films."Factory Film" has won many domestic and foreign awards and industry recognition for its unique image aesthetics and strong humanistic care,and has gradually attracted widespread attention from academia."Factory film"refers to the film that takes the reform of state-owned enterprises in the 1990s as the narrative background,and takes the factory as the center as the main narrative space,showing the life of workers,workers’ children,workers’ relatives and friends and other people in the factory in this environment.This paper takes the"factory film"since the new century as the research object,sorts out the creation and scene encounter of the "factory film",and analyzes and interprets its image space,character identity and genre mechanism.The first chapter provides a general overview of the"factory film" rom the creators of the"factory film",the current situation of creation,future development,the box office market and the award-winning situation through the two aspects of the creative subject.The second chapter explores the spatial presentation of "factory film",which is mainly divided into four spaces:production,life,discipline and culture.Through the screen construction of production space and industrial ruins,the collective memory of living space,and the silence of discipline space The attachment and estrangement from rebellion and cultural space and regional expressions show the working and living conditions of people in the factory area.The third chapter focuses on the people in the factory area,exploring the identity exile of the working class,the absence and escape of the children of the factory in their growing up,and the unease and wandering of the people on the edge of the factory area.The fourth chapter studies the typed expressions in the genre mechanism of "factory films",and divides them into four types:comedy,explores how genre elements are included in"factory films".This article attempts to analyze the "factory film" since the new century through the above four aspects,sort out the development process of "factory film",explore the aesthetic expression and cultural reflection behind it,and make a modest contribution to the research of"factory film" since the new century.force.
