In the 21 st century,with the development of globalization,the countries in the world are closely linked,and the communications between countries are increasingly strengthened.At the same time,the rapid development of science and technology has given birth to all types of new products,facilitating people’s life.In this new era,scientific translation can overcome language barriers and better integrate and utilize international resources.Therefore,this paper is based on the translation practice of A Robotic Platform for Customized and Interactive Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities as the translation material to research.Combining the translation knowledge and taking Skopos Theory as the theoretical basis.And this paper analyzes and studies the translation strategies of scientific and technological texts from the aspects of vocabulary,syntax and structure.This translation report is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the background,purpose and significance of translation.The second chapter mainly introduces the translation text,the guiding theory used in the translation process and the significance of Skopos Theory.The third chapter focuses on the translation process,which is divided into three parts: pre-translation preparation,translation process and post-translation review.Among the three parts,pre-translation preparation focuses on the selection of texts and the characteristics of scientific texts.The fourth chapter introduces the translation practice under the guidance of Skopos Theory,analyzes the translated text from the lexical,syntactic levels.Chapter five summarizes the difficulties and shortcomings in the translation practice.
