A Report On The E-C Translation Of Sense And Respond:How Successful Organizations Listen To Customers And Create New Products Continuously (Excerpts)

With the improvements of China's international status and comprehensive national power,China's economy is developing rapidly.Economic development in China cannot be true without enterprises,which must rely on excellent management for survival.Therefore,enterprises in China badly need to learn about management experience and methods from all around the world,and the translation of management materials is increasingly important.This translation report chooses a management article as the source text.And it will be guided by the Skopos Theory of Hans Vermeer.Guided by the three rules which are skopos rule,coherence rule and fidelity rule,this report will use different translation methods and techniques to explore how to translate management articles according to the purpose and the actual situation of translation.Totally,translation techniques such as word addition,word reduction and word conversion are used at the lexical level,and translation methods of passive sentences,long and complex sentences as well as attributive clauses are summarized at the sentence level.The author hopes that this report can enrich the translation strategies and methods for the translation of management articles.Besides,this report can be a reference for other translators.In a word,the translation of management articles will introduce to China the advanced Western management concepts and methods,which will push the further development of Chinese enterprises and China's economy.
