After the outbreak of the Opium War in modern China, the society was confronted with an unprecedented change in 3000 years. In the Chinese ideological circles, there has been a great uproar and earth-shaking change.Faced with the theme of "saving the nation from extinction and striving for survival",various ideological trends and doctrines intertwined.Socialism is one of them, which became the mainstream after the May 4th New Culture Movement. In the 1920s,the ideological trend of socialism was complex and varied. The supporters of fantasy socialism, scientific socialism, democratic socialism, populist socialism, national socialism and other schools stepped on the stage of history, wrote books and propagated their theories. For the socialists of the May Fourth period, the newly established socialist country of Soviet Russia has become a "holy place" in the hearts of many people, and they have visited Russia one after another. However, after the Soviet experience, many socialists have deviated from the Soviet Union and the Communist Party. This is related to the experience of Chinese socialists in Soviet Russia at that time. The experience of the Soviet Union’s inspection gave them different opinions on the October Revolution, wartime communism and new economic policies of the Soviet Union.Soviet experience also gave them different understanding of Sino-Soviet relations and Kuomintang-Communist relations, and they also reflected on the road of Chinese revolution.
