| In the classroom of teaching Chinese as a second language,80% of the teaching behaviors are the interaction between teachers and students.Therefore,the quantitative research on the interaction between teachers and students in the Chinese classroom can provide a data foundation in classroom observation,teaching evaluation and teaching improvement.This study used the iFIAS improved Flanders interactive analysis system to observe and analyze the random classrooms of five new volunteer teachers in Georgia,selected one as a sample for data processing,analyzed their classroom interactions,drew conclusions and verified the feasibility of the study.Then gave a brief overview of the differences cases of the other four teachers,integrated all the data to make an objective and scientific analysis of the five teachers’ classroom structure,teaching style,classroom language and classroom atmosphere.It is found that the students’ under-opening rate is insufficient,the utilization rate of teachers’ writing time is low,the number and quality of teachers’ questions need to be improved,not good at using instructional words and over-reliance on media language,and less use of media technology to assist teaching are five common problems of new volunteer teachers.With regard to improving teachers’ own skills and abilities,having accumulated rich training methods to explain concisely and practice more,well-prepared to guide students with questions and consciously avoid using too much medium language and adapting for media technology to assist teaching based on local conditions,proposed targeted suggestions for improvement on teaching.At the same time,it also put forward relevant suggestions for the training of volunteer teachers,and made necessary explanations for the experience and limitations of using iFLAS system.This thesis combined research methods such as literature survey method,analysis method,observation method and interview method.The conclusions obtained are ingood agreement with the real situation in the classroom.The suggestions are willing to provide reference for new volunteer teachers in Georgia and other countries. |
